This state-of-the-art system is utilizing the latest high efficiency solar panels to generate power for the island, along with the latest commercial grade Tesla battery system to store and provide the power for our nighttime and low light power needs.
A 163.08kWp PV solar system with 1.4MWh BESS installation by Clay Energy as an EPC project helps minimize the island’s dependence on diesel-powered generators for their daily energy needs. The result is a clean, sustainable, and reliable energy system on Tavarua Island.
