536kWp PV GRID CONNECT SYSTEM

Energy for cooling and poultry production is a major component of operating expenses in an agri-business such as Rooster Poultry. As well as striving to reduce energy costs, Rooster Poultry was eager to adopt the “Go Green” policy of its shareholder, BSP Life, utilizing renewable energy solutions, and ensuring the continued protection of its surrounding environment.

Completed in two phases, for a total of 536kWP, this roof mount grid connect system is designed and installed by Clay Energy, Sunergise’s EPC partner. Each shed was installed with a solar array and connected to two PV inverters and is a solar lease model under Sunergise. At completion, a total of 1,176 PV modules were mounted, with an approximate annual yield of 762MWh. 

The design, installation and commissioning of the system was carried out under the guidelines of the Sustainable Energy Industry Association of the Pacific Islands (SEIAPI).
