The 2.6MWp Kapuni Solar Farm comprises over 5,800 solar PV panels and was named New Zealand’s largest grid-connected solar power plant at the time of its commissioning. The plant is capable of generating enough renewable electricity to power over 520 New Zealand homes.

Clay Energy is proud to provide engineering, procurement, and construction support services with Sunergise being the main developer of this project. The Kapuni Solar Power Plant represents Sunergise’s first ground-mounted solar facility in New Zealand.
