51kWp PV MINI GRID HYBRID SYSTEM

The solar/diesel/battery power system installed is designed to provide 24-hour power system. System installation included 2 x SMA Tripower STP25000TL coupled with the SMA Sunny Island three phase multi-cluster inverter system. 


The DC inverter automatically recharges the cluster battery bank. The generator is interfaced with the inverter system which starts the generator when required to recharge the battery bank. 


The power system design loading is 870 kWh per day on average. This system was installed by Clay Energy as an EPC project for the Department of Energy.
